1st expensive watch was a GMT
I got a SS black bezel GMT in 1984. I kept it for 10 years and then traded it toward a tutone Sub, which is long gone.

Hands up... Who's first expensive watch was a Rolex....
...and which model and when. Mine was. It was 1989 and it was a yellow gold Day Date....and still going strong. You cant kill a Rolex. Congrats on the Rolex addition to the site. Kindest regards, Jack

I am pretty sure it was late 70's and I wore it for over 15 years straight. Never took it off. Still Have it today....
