Rolex

Is this one.... IMO you behold the perfect Rolex in all senses. It has all the qualities of the near-perfect new Sub-C, minus the ubiquity, plus that extra charm, WEIGHT and (that is the best feature...) color subtleties (metal, dial and bezel change colo...  

Not for me, as I still find it a bit too bulky, specially when you compare the size of the lugs and the narrow bracelet, but the most important is that YOU love it. For me, the perfect Submariner is a Big Crown ( 6538 / 5510: 6200 or Tudor 7922 / 7924 ), ... 

actually, this should be a great thread..... I think I would have such difficulty picking my favourite Rolex....will give some thought... Congratulations on your watch.....

really appreciate it? Judging from the pictures I find the pale blue well... very pale (would prefer a navy blue) The good think about this white gold is that it looks like steel. But then, what's the point? Especially for a sports watch? Sorry for my pro... 

Gold that looks like steel is precisely what you're after with a watch like this one. But it does not really look like steel: there is a difference, and the subtlety of that difference is what you come to love a lot when you own the watch. Regarding the b... 

Thank you for taking the pain to answer my provocative comment. I also felt it was a watch one really has to own to feel that subtle difference between white gold and steel. Your comment about the that blue colour and your linking it to the blue found in ... 

I am not sure ztirual did miss the point.... The beautiful thing about collecting watches is that one persons love is another persons hate. Some love blue. Some hate it. For me, I love blue on a watch. But this is the beauty....a watch is wonderful in the...

I got mine a little over a month ago,, i really is a lovely looking timepiece. My favorite Rolex for sure.

I am sure that you will enjoy it a lot and never grow tired.

If you don't have a Sub in your collection, you don"t have a collection. If I could only own one watch, it would be a Sub.

I suppose this qualifies the Sub as something more iconic than an icon, more classical than a classic... A must have for anyone minimally interested in watches...

The weight is impressive. You feel the quality of the case and bracelet immediately. The blue dial is brilliant and uplifting. I just haven't come to terms with a gold diver yet. If it was steel I'd have one without question. But for diversity and dressy ... 

when it was intro'd. I wore it and loved it, but as time passed, the price began to seem absurd. Considering a wg daytona can be had for about the same, LIST, anyway... Ignoring price or a minute, I love the watch, very striking, yet I still have misgivin...
