That's a combo I'd never seen before! but to me doesn't really work! Although I am generally not a big bracelets fan, I think on this one it remains the natural choice! then I've seen sme nive Nato combos as well!

Well, I think this rubber strap is a bit too modern for the 1655.
Try a Tropic, my friend, if you want to use a rubber strap. There are also some nice Cordovan straps, or high quality Natos, which can work very nicely. A modern Oyster Bracelet is another good choice. Especially when the watch is as nice as yours. All th...
not a lot of fans for this strap...
.....will show when in the flesh...it actually handles it better than it looks on scan. I think the nato works really well on a number of Rolex...especially the Sub in my view. But not so much the Explorers.... maybe i need to try harder. HAGWE
