It is a shame
..that what appears to many (myself included) to be an ugly duckling houses what appears to be a truly interesting movement from Rolex. Who would have guessed we would see an annual calender Oyster (and with a rotating GMT ring)? That sounds really cool to me and I am looking forward to getting to play with one. So let's give it another year and hope we see a steel version, maybe without the funky truncated romans?
Kudos on movement, Rolex. Back to the drawing board on the dial.

This is a really ugly watch, don't the have eyes? This complication in a 42-44mm case and pure design like their professionell watches (Submariner, Yacht-Master I, GMT etc.) would have been a great launch. But this I can't understand :-(

That is the problem with teasings.

I may not like the sky portion but I love the annual feature and hope to see it added to other models soon. But the ring plus the arrow just make the dial uneven (at least in photos).

I love the features - bezel activated functions, understated annual calendar, dual time zone, good looking movement. These leave me cold - looks, never liked the fluted bezel and still don't, 24 hr ring that dominates the dial without needing to, overall ...

Nicolas, have you played with the interactive watch on the Rolex site? It is REALLY COOL! The bezel rotates to select adjustability from the crown of date and month (did you see the month apertures???), local time and reference time. This thing is unique ...

the different angles of the bezel can let the crown couple with difference function for adjusting time / 12hour jumping centered hour hand / Date. In addition, I was browsing at china watch forum. Half of them like the outlook of this watch....

Looks very much like a DJ but at an astronomical price.
Interesting to have the bezel to tune the other functions but still at that price point (excluding the usual launch premiums), does it make sense? The Yatch master in blue looks better to me or maybe t's just my "rolex" stereotype. cheers PAt
