thank you for the trip down the memory lane. I still own the watch and I will probably never sell it. The submariner is *the* most versatile rolex. You can wear it anytime, anywhere with any outfit. It is very robust, discreet yet luxurious. I have some amazing memories: swimming in the Bahamas, Greece, Venice...walking in New York City with it..enjoying the Swiss alps. I did wear it in many meetings and has always been a trusted companion. Many watches came and went in the past 8 years, but the WG submariner is something else. A league on its own. Enjoy the watch and have some great memories with it.. and of course Happy Birthday! here another photo from the many memories with this amazing watch.
