I'm from 1974...
And I've been looking for a GMT from 1974 or even a Sub from 1974. From my searches, it seems like 1974 was either a bad year for Rolex in which they made no watches, or a fine vintage as nobody is offering theirs on the market. I want to buy one now, before I have to save up to buy a new kidney.

They do not make watches today that are as good as the old ones. Just think of steel hardness today compared to before (I wrote a chapter about that in my book).

Pretty wide net. Gave up being specific with ref or serial numbers.
Looking for GMT or Sub 1974. Papers absolutely required. Box would be nice. Condition has to be wearable with no worry.
