Happy new year!

Jan 27, 2024,18:33 PM

For me 2024 has started out with a bang with this yellow gold day date with a grand feu enamel dial.

Quite a special piece to me and still completely enamored by the shade and color varieties of the dial.

Will attempt a more comprehensive review on this piece later but wanted to share a quick picture and wish you all the best in this coming year!

 By: edtonkin : January 27th, 2024-18:53
existed. Was this a special order?

Thank you

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-19:04
The dial is even more spectacular live It was a special release earlier this month made to commemorate their relation to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Wow wow wow

 By: Credor : January 27th, 2024-20:04
How did you come across it?

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-21:45
I came across it via AD.

Thank you

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-19:04
And no, what?

You can take it underwater!!!!

 By: Mary Anny : January 27th, 2024-19:08
A treat from this manufacturer. Enjoy it!

Yes it has occurred to me!

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-19:04

This is phenomenal

 By: TeutonicCarFan : January 27th, 2024-19:08
I assume oem? Never seen anything like this from rolex before

Yes all factory made

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-19:10
Agree it is a slight departure from their usual path

Who needs a stone dial when you can now have this?

 By: Jay (Eire) : January 27th, 2024-20:03
I trust you that this needs to be seen in person, I’d seen some previous photos and I did think it looked pretty great. And it’s the right size 😂 Congrats, this is really a big start to 2024 !

Love stone dials

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-21:25
But an enamel dial with no lume and not lumed hands is hard to beat. Yes in person it is something else!! Thanks!

Amazing start and this is more special than the Jigsaw puzzle 🧩

 By: Clueless_Collector : January 27th, 2024-20:40
I wonder how they allocate this piece and if Vienna is only region? Big congratulations 🎉

Both special pieces

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-21:35
I did have a chance to try the pink gold puzzle but in my opinion this one is more to my liking. As for allocation I am not aware of process unfortunately. Thanks!!

This is an interesting answer, actually.

 By: fmc000 : January 28th, 2024-07:30
First of all, congrats! This is indeed a future classic, well done. So my question is, if you don't mind answering of course: did your AD get an allocation and directly offered it to you or did you request it? I'm just curious, nothing more than that I sw...

 By: keks : January 28th, 2024-10:25
As for allocation process I am not aware of how the details work unfortunately.

Congratulations on an amazing piece!

Thank you!

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-21:33
Much appreciated!

Now THAT is a daydate for the books!

 By: andrea~ : January 27th, 2024-21:35
I absolutely love it, it must be incredibly rare!

 By: keks : January 27th, 2024-21:46
I suppose quite rare but Rolex is quite secretive with these details.

What a special piece! Huge congrats!

 By: 1WatchMan : January 27th, 2024-23:04
I had no idea it existed.

 By: keks : January 28th, 2024-03:14

Thats one amazing DD , huge congrats

And a nice first DD to own

As a violin player, I APPROVE!

 By: keks : January 28th, 2024-10:29
It sounds marvelous on the wrist too!

 By: keks : January 28th, 2024-13:28
For me I had to pay as well unfortunately before it was mine

Not sure policy of forum to discuss prices

 By: keks : January 29th, 2024-08:59
But a slight premium to the standard DD is a fair approximation

 By: PalmSprings : January 29th, 2024-12:20
How did the allocation happen? Any connection with the orchestra, industry, ... ?

 By: keks : January 30th, 2024-09:12
I am not familiar with the process Rolex and/or AD goes through so unable to shed much light

 By: PalmSprings : February 12th, 2024-14:31
So did you ask for the watch or did they simply call you that it was available?

Other metals?

 By: jonrus : January 29th, 2024-12:26
Is this only available in yellow gold?

Only yellow gold

 By: keks : January 30th, 2024-09:10
Rolex is quite secretive with details around production of various references

wow what a 💣piece !! amazing
