Good evening Thomas!
I am a fan from the old ROOT BEER, i had a 16753 and now i have a 16758 and i think the dial also looks good in brown. I think it is not a summer color,
So we come to the colors, the 16622 is a wonderfull sommer watch, the steel is so brigth in the sun, the platinum in grey with the white Superluminova, i think it is perfect. But you can wear this watch the hole year like a AP Royal Oak or a PP Nautilus too. The problem is, i also want to wear my other watches, so every watch has his time.
With the 10 ATM, you never have problems if the watch is serviced correctly from a Rolex Dealer. The Submariner is 30 ATM but i am not a diver. i dont need the extention of the bracelet, and i prefer the bezel in both directions like the Yachtmaster.
The Submariner without date is complete different watch for me, it is a real tool watch. If you wear a suit, you can not wear a Submariner SS. may be in S/G or Gold. But this is my personal opinion!

Everything is a daily wearer. I would definitely wear it everyday. Get this or the YM.

the YM is more versatile and works also with a suit. So: the YM for me. Best, Thomas

The Yacht-Master is a watch which will grow on you with time passing. I made the mistake to sell mine. A mistake I corrected two or three years after.
In platinum / steel, the watch was introduced in the catalog circa 1998 / 1999, if my memory serves me well. Go, my friend, go, you won't regret it. One of my very favorite modern Rolex. Best, Nicolas

They both wear theirs as daily drivers, in every situation, and love them.
As far as I remember the AD explained to me
that the watch was produced in 2013 and bought from another AD in 2016. So the warranty will end 2021. Can this be possible? I will have to check this before finally pulling the trigger. Best, Thomas
The Root Beer Everrose is hard to beat, but not Root Beer enough with the black dial.
The Sub 16613 is very bling-bling, much more than all other Rolex watches. For one day or two it is OK, but for a daily driver it is too much for me. The 16622 is my sommer watch, also bling-bling but not so vulgar like the 16613. It is another Submariner...

I bought my Girlfriend one for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. Grey being her favourite colour does help. On the odd occasion I’m allowed to wear it I love it also. Just so different to everything else and so much nicer than the new Yacht master...
