I might go for the 6610 or 1016...but only maybe by a hair.
And actually, that cream-dialled baby is mega cool. What I don't know about vintage could fill many books, but if there were a modern model with such a subtle dial and a case that's not super shouty or big, well, that would be very hard to ignore.

Nicolas, what are your likes and dislikes about the Explorer II 216570? Do you see it as a missing book end? I love the four you have, they betray the classic style the model has held throughout its evolutions. - Mark
I don't like the blend of styles ( indexes and hands ) and the proportion of the case.
But it is just my taste, and what I don't like may , at the contrary, please to others. Best, Nicolas
