Time for a change around and a change of my daily beaters. A trip to the vault tomorrow. What constitutes a daily beater for you guys??? I am conscious of the Party season approaching M. ...  

Interesting collection, haven't seen one like this before (couple of really expensive pieces and a couple affordable ones and nothing in between). Regarding the Tudor, do you prefer the Rolex Sub bracelet over the Tudor or isn't that a problem at all? I k... 

This was meant to be a daily beater thread. Yes you are correct a 5960p and Plat Daytona mixed in with a Tudor or two. M.

Steel case with a steel bracelet or rubber strap,Light,Thin and water resistant and finally something that when banged I won’t get a heart attack😆

I might not wear something like a 5131 world time every day, but I could see a PT Rolex DD being an every day watch - rugged, water and shock resistant, legible, even if expensive.

One Rolex guy since 1978. Wore my watch 24/7/356 shower swim everything Come 2001 business was good time to upgrade. I really watedcto spoil myself but i wanted to be able to enjoy my spoils. Platinum Rolex datejust. Crazy money but looked like a 3k watch...

My opinion as well. There are no 'untoucheables'.

There is no such thing as a daily beater and no such thing as a safe queen. I wear my watch when I wanna wear them and accept the scratches as they come. That being said, my $500 Seiko is the only watch I'd surf with, no matter how water resistant my othe...

The bb58 is the newest in that line up yes? I’d go with either with the bb58 (red) or the Kermit (green) if I wanted a hint of holiday color. But just for the pure pleasure of it and because I don’t think I’ll ever have one.. the plat dayto Best, Echi ... 

I think I may have another category then “party watch”. I was out in London many years ago wearing a Patek PCC I’d had a few too many drinks. I was messing around in a London park and fell flat face first my pride was damaged but my beloved watch had a se...

A watch that I wear frequently. This year, I would say 5650 has been on my wrist 70% of the time.

I know my friend you are far too grown up to have a beer or 3 but is it a watch you’d go out in to a party and have a few???? I fear not. Some daily beater that is. You haven’t even got a Panerai to do that in any more 😉. M.

Inside my head it’s a party 24 hrs a day. If I felt there was a risk that my watch could get damaged, then I would be looking at the 14060 two-liner.
