About the dial.
After looking at the black dial closely, the dial doesn't seemed to be matt. The lacquer is almost not present due to long mosture esposure. But it is an original one. The lettering on Everest has a different font and is lighter in color, not sure why. It's possible the dial is swiss made and the word Everest is added by Rolex Canada. I will try to take a close up picture on the dial of the Explorer watch later. Thanks for all your comment.

most likely only the black dial is not ....
refinished , but it's hard to say from such a small and blurry picture. black dial has a matt or glossy ( lacquered ) finish ?

Yes it looks exactly like yours.
This is only the second time I have seem a white dial everest watch. Very nice. These watches are so hard to find these days. For sure I'll post some larger pictures.
