of writing down as much of the history as possible and keeping the story with the watch for future generations. It's so rare that such a complete history accompanies a watch, it would be a shame for it to be forgotten.
Yes, dial has been repainted at some point, and there is a screw missing on the rotor.
But watch is keeping good time, still working, although lots of parts are worn, and fragile...
