Color Combo

I too could not get past the brown, black and I would have owned one awhile back. I passed on this watch at $50K about 5 years ago, woops! The WG with dark blue is spectacular.

An uncommon combination of colors for a cool Daytona. Enjoy. Nicolas ...

What is your opinion of the brown color choice? And do you prefer this dial or the all blue with baguette diamond markers?

Overall, I think the color combo works very nicely. Thanks for these lovely pics 👌🏼

Ok, please dont laughs, i have chronique back problems, especially when having to lift or carry weights...so I always wondered about a full platinum watch in that sense...

I guess i would have to feel it in the flesh. I thought it weight close to 500gr, maybe i am wrong! This is an issue for me for example for photography as even if I have a "small" Sony camera (I have the A1), as soone as I put a heavy prime of it (like a ...

Easier said then done likely here 🧐. Cheers!

I admit I made a U turn on this one

Initially, I found the colour scheme comically ugly, but after having seen a couple in the wild I consider it works. And having a platinum Rolex on the wrist tends to affect one's perspective anyways. I hence vote in favour!

I prefer the Daytona with baguettes

but even more the DD40 in platinum as you know ...

This is my absolute favourite bezel/dial combination.

I saw this version in an AD in Portofino a few years ago. If I only knew then what I know now.

I totally understand.

There are so many great Daytona dials these days...

...that it would be hard to choose, assuming one could actually purchase one. I particularly love the Daytonaa in yellow gold with the flex bracelet. I'm afraid (besides the price) the platinum version might be a bit too hefty.

Definitely something i would like to wear .

And being a complicated watch fan and Daytona fan it was a must have. Then add in the fact that this was the 50th Anniversary model and the want no need grew even more within me. I was then very lucky with a local AD who had it for 12 months and could not...

A real beauty. Enjoy.

I wonder why Rolex thinks a lighter brown bezel and subdials is better than the more common dark brown....? I think Rolex are becoming 'playful' in their middle-age?
