I'd go with hand-wound chronograph...
as the movement - like you said - is legendary, regardless whether in-house or not. I consider it a must-have for all chronograph lovers.
In terms of long term aesthetic appeal I would be cautious in respect to salmon dials. They seemed to be fashionable a few years ago, but not so much these days.

that the lemania based chronograph is very desirable, I personally think this classic movement is better suited for the more traditionalist sympathie case as opposed to the easy diver case. Even better if you can find one w/ sympathie shaped crystal. ...
