Not the same, but when there were different flanges and finishes for the RM005, I was looking at the FM model and the platinum model the same way.
However, looking at the FM version now, I don't think it aged as well as the classic model. The yellow and the lighter bead blasted case don't seem to have stood the test of time as well as a classically colored standard model.
The same thing for these colored RM011. I love the PVD model, but the red flange doesn't seem to make the watch as nice as if they just did a plain PVD version.

I like the original the most.
The black one is my second pick. I think the problem with the colored ones is that the dial markings are white and they make the watch look very cluttered. I'm sure they look stunning in the metal.
