Hi Guys,
I would like to enquire about this particular RM model. What makes it so special.
I do understand it is a split second (same as double split), but how 'advance' and 'purist' is it.
Compared to many split seconds out there, i.e, Lange Double Split, IWC Dopplechronograph, Patek's Double Split and to the other numerous brands, how does it differ?
I do understand they use a carbon-fiber nano base plate, but that still doesn't justify the spectacle! Lange developed the first minute double split counter as well, and IWC provides a 'cheap' and reliable movement and Patek, obviously famed for its ultra thin movment.
So, what makes this RM so special? HMMMMMmmmm....

I am just curious since we are on the topic of the RM004s...I wonder how many exist in the world? Not sure who has the knowledge of this outside of the company or at the very least a rough idea?! My guess would be 100 to 200 pieces?! Any ideas guys?

truly limited
Most limited editions are limited in the sense that there is only one particular case made, but there may be lots of limited editions all with the same movement. In the case of the RM004v2, it's 130 total of the same movement! Eric von Schonberg

For me , I'd rather choose to simply take pleasure of the watch & see the movement . not playing with it. because , when something wrong with the chrono , i mean the split seconds. it would be a trouble & have to wait send in to service center for...

At least me, I love to use my chronographs (simple or double, it doesn´t matter) and I know how difficult it is to make a really good one. Therefore I love the best ones :-) Ciao, Oliver
