I always thought the 2 and the 3 were the same size and yet when I saw my first 3 on a separate occasion on its own I thought "that looks bigger I am sure". So I went to my oracle namely RM's Monographie 1 and indeed the 3 is 48x39.7x13.65 whereas the 2 is 45x38.3x11.95. The 4 for reference is 48x39.7x14.95.

Incoming, love this watch. Had to part company with a few other pieces to make it happen, and I think it was not a great deal, but the heart is stronger than the head sometimes! ...

Thanks for the find words Andrew. Based on how long it took me to find one in as new condition it would seem collectors are indeed latching on to the early models. I love the more recent pieces of course but the very limited production of the early pieces...
