I have owned a lot of RMs over the years but had never had one of the "grand complication" models - I had focused on the 2/3/4/14 and 15 models. Whilst I love the 8, it's too much to have sunk in a single watch. Prices of 21 and 22 also a little above my ...

I've been closely asking myself what I would go for in the complicated RMs. I love the RM021 or the RM027 but the budgets are an issue. And I could go for the origins of the brand with the RM002 or the RM004. Btw, I didn't realized the RM003 was bigger th... 

I always thought the 2 and the 3 were the same size and yet when I saw my first 3 on a separate occasion on its own I thought "that looks bigger I am sure". So I went to my oracle namely RM\'s Monographie 1 and indeed the 3 is 48 whereas the 2 is 45 The 4...

Thanks for the find words Andrew. Based on how long it took me to find one in as new condition it would seem collectors are indeed latching on to the early models. I love the more recent pieces of course but the very limited production of the early pieces... 

But a big congratulations on another beautiful and well-thought purchase. The RM002 epitomizes the clean RM dna, and your V2 has such an eye-catching look. I am being drawn further and further down the RM rabbit hole, and your wonderful pictures aren't he... 

This one is going nowhere for sure! Thank you for the kind words. Rubber vented strap en route which I think will spruce it up a little.
