two out of three is not bad...
Yes to B&W... film and/or digital. I was looking through some publicity stills from an opening exhibit of images from the new Rolling Stones' TASCHEN book... big names at the event and some of the event photos were done in B&W with a comment that the photos were in fact done in B&W with no color version available...
B&W is back (again)...
a new zoom lens... I might have a zoom laying around somewhere... for digital only. A 24-70mm would be very useful for me... I do mostly 50mm but want the odd short or long shot... 70mm is a very good compromise in a zoom and I think a good idea to have the zoom with a fixed f-stop (e.g. f/2.8 throughout the zoom at wide open).
I was reading some game theory about a strategy of taking care not to do something (e.g. embarrassing)... it almost always fails and you end up doing what you were trying to avoid... better to plan for the contingency
Good list...

Made me think and realize I didn't have any plans! Definitely, go out and shoot more. And post more. Work hangs in the balance so a lot of "what if" planning in my head. From a gear perspective, I almost bought the new Dlux. I was going to be customer #1....
Only one thing

To take more pictures and get better at it, especially in dealing with light and reflections, both for landscapes and watches. No new gear, as I think I'm still not utilizing the features of my D-Lux 6 to its full extent.
