I did a review of my 2014 photos and may share a portion of that later, but thinking about 2015 and what I want to do, accomplish, try, whatever...
Here are some of my plans for the New Year (not in any order):
-- Continue to use film, both B&W and Color
-- Do some extended trips in Japan and overseas... everything is overseas when you live on an island
-- Interested in doing more landscapes...
-- Will definitely shoot medium format film (6x7)
-- Might take a workshop, considering post processing techniques
-- Own film development and printing is always on the burner... maybe this year
-- I definitely will do some big prints (or have them done for me)...
-- I have been threatening to do some alt.printing... maybe this year
I have thrown in a couple of maybes... let's see what happens.
What are your photo plans for 2015? Some new gear
I have a feeling that it will be a full 12 months...
Casey
Mine will been simple :
- - Continue in digital not move back to film, use what I already have no new gears in plan
- - Wish list of exotic places to visit 3-4, so traveling photo
- - “perfecting (if any)” my skill in street photographic
- - learn to see things differently by discussing with expert and read books ??
- - continue to print some of my own works for decoration or gift to friend
As well, I don't plan any new equipment in 2015...
Never say never, but no gear planned.
I think it's easier to be motivated in new locations,
but for me it doesn't have to be completely new... change maybe.
I did a Street workshop some years ago, and enjoyed it... not really
what I do, but I have lot's of friends that do it very well... and I
certainly enjoy the results of their effort...
As well, I look forward to printing more... another level of looking
at your (one's own) work with a critical eye.
Have fun...

When I got interested in watches and took a correspondence course...
it was organized by Walt Odets. I must say it added a lot to my understanding
and enjoyment... I could take the practice piece apart and put it back together,
and worked on a few watches from friends (who are still friends)...
I would encourage you to get your feet wet... in my experience, a little goes a long way.
Have a good year Filip...
Casey

Yes to B&W... film and/or digital. I was looking through some publicity stills from an opening exhibit of images from the new Rolling Stones' TASCHEN book... big names at the event and some of the event photos were done in B&W with a comment that the photos were in fact done in B&W with no color version available...
B&W is back (again)...
a new zoom lens... I might have a zoom laying around somewhere... for digital only. A 24-70mm would be very useful for me... I do mostly 50mm but want the odd short or long shot... 70mm is a very good compromise in a zoom and I think a good idea to have the zoom with a fixed f-stop (e.g. f/2.8 throughout the zoom at wide open).
I was reading some game theory about a strategy of taking care not to do something (e.g. embarrassing)... it almost always fails and you end up doing what you were trying to avoid... better to plan for the contingency
Good list...
Casey

Actually it might be better to post more not less, what is a little embarrassment among friends...
Casey
Sorry you have to search for the Vanity Fair's article, but they titled the write-up "Marilyn Monroe's 1955 Resolutions Put Your New Year's List to Shame"...
I have the feeling that work always hangs in the balance and a good 3rd party activity might be just the ticket... to get out and do something that is enjoyable. I once read that Ike was criticized for playing golf when he was president... and responded something about mixing business with a little private time.
Shooting more is good... and we can benefit when you post more...
When I was in Sapporo I saw a mint F2 (black) and it was hard to walk away... it's been on my list for some time... totally impractical when I already have two x F3... and other shooting options in the dry box
"Introducing a new generation" are not just words, they need to be prepared...
Lot's of clues in your post... now to balance action and patience, hahaha
Casey
Must admit that it's more challenging to travel recent days, but to see it and/or touch it in person has it's own reward. My dad always said to travel when you're young... I think he meant young at heart
I always kept my old Pentax SPF in the glove compartment of my car when traveling, until it was stolen when I lent my car to a friend... life lesson Number-7,568
Gear... got to love it... Used camera gear in acceptable condition can still be found at a reasonable price... and it just takes a kit with one good lens... it's hard to walk past the used camera shops
I guess the question is to (a) save up for a longer trip or (b) take a lot of weekend and/or short trips... or (c) door number three.
A good friend in Germany is approaching golden parachute time... and with some 200 vacation days in reserve he opted for no Friday work in 2015... trying to get him to visit Asia... He's too busy to travel
.
Good food is always worth traveling for...

Getting better is a huge area
. Marilyn Monroe's 1955 New Year Resolutions (as mentioned in a previous response above) were surprisingly specific... In her case it was getting better at acting by attending, paying attention, and practicing techniques from acting classes given by a certain individual... interesting reading.
Light and reflections for landscape and watches is a good area to focus on. For sure there are different approaches to be taken... Fortunately there is no such thing as bad light, so the theme for the year is wide open...
Interesting comment about under utilizing camera features... with my dSLR I have three pre-sets and don't do much else... with film, I tend to stick to what seems best for what I shoot... maybe I could better use features such as exposure lock... focus lock is kind of by default with a manual focus lens
Good list for 2015...
