There is some truth to this critique. We have to be careful when shooting what the pictures says sometimes.

 

When I first started out in photography and was using untrained models, I often did the standing hand against the head pose and my mother who knew nothing about photography, said, it looks like she has a splitting headache. And she was right. One has to be careful copying model poses and not getting them exactly right.
For the first one also the fingers appear a bit deformed and cropped out. The third one with the leg is not right either.
Just stuff to work on.
