I take more care and do more tweaking with the photos I am taking on our morning walks
I am walking let's say 2 miles, have to keep moving to keep my wife happy, and probably averaging about 60-80 shots along the way. It's opportunistic and completely unscripted.
So there are sunrises, birds, ships, weather, scenery etc. and the Sony RX-10 mk4 camera and my iphone are all we carry (plus an extra battery). It's very good practice.
And satisfies my "magpie" tendency to go after anything sparkling or colorful. Or maybe it's my hunting instinct - just have to catch SOMETHING today. A bit strange, isn't it?

I use to have LR on my PC but since a few years ago I have been exclusively using the imac and their Photos uploader which has basic editing, to substantially increase workflow and ease of use.

I also tried LR but the application never clicked. All I really need are simple adjustments, although at times I would like to do some regional dodge / burn. Casey

although I wish organizing the libraries was easier to do.
I archive offline on a yearly basis...
so finding a specific image is a consideration... I guess if I was starting over, and given today's technology I might do it differently. At the moment I am happy with my yearly selections of 10 as a reference. From time to time I look through the shoebox...
I am still in Aperture for image mgmt
I use Photoshop Creative Suite 6 ( I own it) mostly to correct with skewed signs
I have no experience with Aperture...
For digital, I have only shot Canon, up until I picked up the Fuji x100t. I always felt that PS was a bit of an overkill... I guess once you settle in with an application it's easy to stick with it. Casey

I only still use Photoshop 5.0
It is an older version that I had bought at the time and still does what it should do. The RAW files I develop in the app that came with the camera. But the watch shots I do for PuristPro and Instagram are all shot in JPG, yes, I am a bit lazy. Lightroom ...

True! And not having figured out the “display” part sometimes throws a monkey wrench in the process..
Take for example framing. I remember cropping photos to a specific size because my exhibit partner decided last minute on a specific print size. If I knew beforehand, I would have stepped back a few steps for ever photo that I took :p
