I have been using PhotoShop for the past 15 years and feel comfortable with it. In the beginning, I was about to abandon it several times because it was so complicated to learn, but I struggled. I had lots of filters to play with and thought that and thought one effect was better than the other. After a while of using it, I realized that I easily over-edited my work and it was just to start over again when it completely failed. Today I do not use filters that much, "camera raw" which is a bit reminiscent of Lightroom is then what I use the most and have cleaned up a lot in my filter library. I also have Lightroom as it is included in my "photo package" but do not agree with this so I end up in PhotoShop again when I try to use Lightroom. I have not had time to get acquainted with the news but drive to a little old school as I usually do with the workflow I am used to. Together with my Wacom pen tablet, PhotoShop works like a charm for me.
