I am very tempted by it because I usually shoot 50mm for street photography.
That said, I’ve become more accustomed to 28mm and I’d miss it as a travel camera for architecture and atmospheric shots. Plus, the crop works reasonably well although I would like the creamier bokeh that you get with a 50mm. I wouldn’t part with the Q28 for the 43 but I would certainly consider adding the 43.
Meanwhile, my M5 is soon due to return from a service.

As a person who does not like traditional range finder cameras, because it takes too long for me to get everything in focus, this new Leica has the potential to be a game changer for me!
Might need a macro adapter or a macro lens like the 90 macro elmar..
You might be better off with the Q3 especially for watches 🙂

Q is perfect for that because it has a MACRO feature

Yes you can get closer.
There’s a point at which it won’t be able to focus but the macro is designed to let you get close like for insects, flowers etc.
I just checked the specs
Macro mode lets you get 4-5 centimeters from the subject (compared to 30 centimeters when not in macro mode).
Honestly I’m not sure why you would need anything like that
The resolution on the Q2 is amazing with 47MP and Q3 even more so with 60. If you want more macro/close up you can easily crop in and get whatever detail you’re looking for with extreme resolution. The Q camera are made for cropping. In fact there are set...
