I’m a little puzzled by the concept of this camera. One of the great benefits of the rangefinder is to be able to see subjects coming into your frame. Can you see that with the new EVF or is it just a full screen?
I actually think the Q is an excellent proxy for the rangefinder of the M because if I set my frame lines to 35 or 50 and I can see the subject as it approaches outside the frame lines just like with an M. Plus, shooting on manual the Q “feels” a lot like shooting an M.
I suppose the big advantage (over the Q cameras) is to be able to switch out lenses but at the $9000+ price point for the M EVF I think I’d prefer to just get a Q3 43 (for $6000) to go with my Q2 28.
