some gear discussion is inevitable... and I would expand that to include all phases of the process, but only to the point of understanding the tools and dispelling any myths so that we can get on with making good and the occasional great-lish photo. I read a couple of photo b-logs every day over my morning bowl of oatmeal... most of the time the threads are predictable and the majority are gear related, including buying and selling problems and repairs. For me it's a good way to touch into the larger community... while planning my next road trip ; ) Casey
