Patek Philippe

Hello All - I'm from NY and just got back from an amazing vacation that included some Swiss Skiing, Geneva and Paris. I got to spend some time at the boutiques as well as the Patek Philippe Museum. I have to be honest, there were times when I got goosebum...  

would be my choice. I think the 5170G (white or black dial) would fit into your collection nicely, in particular. Lovely collection btw!

I think 5130 p would be nice as it’s a classic pp complication and platinum case in addition. 6119 is nice as in house movement and I like the hobnail and grained dial. Could be your dress watch or more casual maybe on a grey nubuck. 5205 is nice as it ad... 

I am leaning towards the 5130P and 6119G myself, but that changes on a day-to-day basis. While I can pick up the 6119G at a discount if I go used/grey-market, I wonder if it's worth the extra money to build on a patek relations which I don't currently hav... 

...I would suggest any reference with leaf hands. These stick hands are just too plain imho... ...  

I’m a sucker for a good chrono, so the 5170 would fit nicely and agree that if you can source a leaf hands version even better small detail. However, also have the 6119R and either that or the 6119G is quintessential Patek dress that can also go casual so... 

They’re all solid choices… maybe trying them all on will be a challenge

both Calatravas (6119G & 6007G) and the World Time (5130P) seem to me to be the more appropriate for your collection. As you say it yourself, you don't need another chrono or calendar and would be happy to take some money back. And if I try to read be... 

But I think one of the most unique, engaging, and worthwhile Pateks is to be found in the 5224R. It has a fabulous case that has a stepped architecture and these wonderfully clear, legible numerals. It also employs lume in a non-revolting fashion—lume imp...

Last time I was in town I made the rounds of the watch resellers and found myself on a dubious office above 47th street. Seedy way to go about it, but I made quick work of it and rescued that 5170R-001 from it's nefarious journey that landed it in the jew... 

5130P would complement well to what you have, especially given that you seem to travel often for personal & business reasons. WT is an iconic line within Patek and it adds diversity to your collection. Best of luck with your decision and we look forwa...

And what you’ve said, I’d suggest buying a 5235. The Worldtime will have the same bad guy issue as the AP IMO.

I'd think the 5130 is closer to redundant on the 5212 than the 5205 is. True, the 5205 and the 5212 are both calendar watches and the 5130 is a worldtime. But the actual experience of wearing and looking at the watches? The 5212 and worldtime are both wat... 

Instead of 5130, I prefer 5110 and with 5170, yellow gold is only slightly ahead of white gold imho. My order would be as follows: ...  

Size is always a matter of personal preference. For my 17,5 cm wrist the 37mm of the 5110P feels just perfect. I recently checked a 5130R which imho was a bit too big for me. Maybe due to the long lugs.
