If he is willing to pay an extra $5,000 then he can probably find the 5167 on bracelet easier.
I called my AD and asked to be put on the list and they had an unclaimed 5167/1A. He said I could have that one.
It is easy you just order the rubber strap and the deployant which will cost $1,700. The AD will change it for you.
The only problem is that you are paying $24,000 for a $19,000 watch. Nobody wants the $3,000 bracelet.
