The 5070 remains the BEST simple chronograph of the last 30 years or so...in my "humble" opinion. The R is stunning.

At the right price. Super impressive watch. Personally I will go for the G as I think it's more versatile with straps.

Go for it, you only live once. And that is one gorgeous watch to accompany you on your journey.

Especially not when it comes to such classics like 5070.

... 5170 instead, which is has got a technical superior movement that is more in-house and is smaller. However, if collectability is the main focus then rather this 5070. But still ....

If the picture is you, then it looks oversized for your wrist. Frankly, in spite of all the lovefest about this watch, I find it chunky, bulky and heavy. There simply is too much gold metal exposed, as if you are wearing jewelry. It is in my opinion borde...
