Wow fantastic work getting them all together.
Love the oil Painting of my favourite.
As explained previously the original just pleases my eyes the most by some way.
As a collector it is also the little details which make a watch more exciting to me.
I remember being very excited when the first auto Chronograph with fly back was announced then there is the useful complications it came with. For me the Geneva seal is very important as its numbers must be less but admittedly this is a later attraction as I didn’t know when I bought it that it was changing. I also think the 5960 was an important watch for Thierry and one of his first at the helm.
I believe he also thinks that the original is an important watch as the first model was produced in platinum. The most Noble and supposedly rare of all metals.
This meant a great deal to me. For all those who say they made too many of the original models I disagree 100%. Patek won’t make too many platinum in any model.

The 5960R-001 (Grey dial 2009-2012) was the first watch with the then New PP Seal.
It is also my favourite version of all 5960.

In the discussion below Watchlover42's recent post, both him and Miles_151 say how important it is for them that their first gen 5960P still have the Geneva Seal. The first 5960P-001 (Grey dial 2006-2013) were probably the last of this kind.

the original was spot on for me
even if it took a while for the market to warm up to it. A strong second is the white gold blue dial : great texture !

And I would say that there are two quite different families: with leaf hands (dressier aesthetic); without leaf hands (sportier aesthetic).

Well, if you want the 3 apertures to look the same, you have to choose a steel variant or the 2017 white gold!
But the platinum/black dial still looks very good, imo, as well as the other variants with a special aperture for the date. Thanks for looking.
