The 5960R-001 (Grey dial 2009-2012) was the first watch with the then New PP Seal.
It is also my favourite version of all 5960.

In the discussion below Watchlover42's recent post, both him and Miles_151 say how important it is for them that their first gen 5960P still have the Geneva Seal. The first 5960P-001 (Grey dial 2006-2013) were probably the last of this kind.

the original was spot on for me
even if it took a while for the market to warm up to it. A strong second is the white gold blue dial : great texture !

Cool indeed! But I personally miss the leaf hands.
And the more dressy look of the platinum and rose gold variants. Matter of taste of course.
For me, the 5960P in grey dial is still my go to.

And I would say that there are two quite different families: with leaf hands (dressier aesthetic); without leaf hands (sportier aesthetic).

If only they can make the day and month windows the same size and shape..
Well, if you want the 3 apertures to look the same, you have to choose a steel variant or the 2017 white gold!
But the platinum/black dial still looks very good, imo, as well as the other variants with a special aperture for the date. Thanks for looking.
