What do you say?

Hi everyone!!! I've just got this interesting topic of discussion.. at least for myself.

Most probably, everyone who's reading this would own a Patek Philippe, and more probable then not, you would have worn it on your wrist metting friends/relatives/clients. And while meeting them, they would hav commented like, NICE WATCH! WHAT IS IT? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? And, more probable, you'd say, Patek Philippe, Roughly USD50K (example).

And he goes.. WHAT???? YOU CAN BUY ROLEX WAYYYY CHEAPER THAN THAT! What's so great about Patek Philippe? There's no dimonds (at leas for most of their models) and it's not like solid gold. Is it shock proof? Lifeime warranty? Totally handmade? Why is it so expensive???

These are the questions i get asked the most of the time, and i've found myself explaining to almost everyone the same thing, and not really convincingly. So, i'd usually end up saying.. UMmmmmMMmmm.. think of it as a painting.. buying a van Gogh painting.. it's not fireproof ain't it!!

Yea, this is usually what i say..and wha would you have said? Don't you tire of explaining it over-and over again? It takes more than an hour just trying to explain the logic behind it!!!
