well,
"One day...Will you get one?"
- You never know ;-)
I'm working on a 5131G but that will be VERY difficult. My AD send them that application form about 10 months ago. They would answer after basel 2010. And they did
But I was hoping for a more positive answer than the answer I got. It wasn't 'NO, impossible'. but it said it wasn't possible for this year. They would reconsider it in srping 2011 ... and if it would be 'Yes, will make one for you' it still will take several years
I can accept the fact that it is a rare watch because not many people can make these dials and therefor it takes more time to get one but It is so damn frustrating to see that I can name at least 5 secondhand dealers who have one for sale at a VERY ridiculous price. I guess that apllication form is't the best way to exclude those irritating flippers. I have no problem with a person who sells his watch after a few years but I don't feel much sympathy for those who sell it for a huge profit the day after they received it
Available on the marketplace
2,850 Patek Philippe listings are live on the eBay market and 1721 collector listings on the WatchProSite marketplace.

We can't get them all! Actually, the 5131 with its 39,5mm case may be too small for your wrist. Maybe PP knows that fact? I'm still traumatized when I remember the pic you posted of a Daytona ( 40 mm ) on your wrist. Best, Nicolas This message has been ed...

39.5 isn't indeed very big but I could live with it I would not wear e 36 mm watch but everything between 40 and 44 is imo perfect. So an exception to 39.5 won't be the problem
I hear you Bruno...

I find the "flipping" infuriating. I actually know someone who just paid £100k for the 5131. £100k!!! The seller received the watch a week ago. Obviously it is still sealed. I do think one thing that Patek could do to put some dent into this pra...

do not like flippers..... but this is a negative of the free economy...... You cannot put a stop to it..... Maybe that is the reason that PP makes client lists so to restrict it.... I do not applaud this, but I do understand it.... But some ADs are to be ...
