.. darker dials tend to make a watch look smaller. Clear dials makes a watch feel bigger... So this white dial, so luminous, makes it feel like "really present" on the wrist.
I had the 5726A, but got bored of it very very quickly. Too sober, chic, classy, and too far from the idea i have of a nautilus. My 1st impression was that i will have time when i will be older to wear such models, now, i'd rather have more fun things as sports casual daily watches.
I still believe there is something not right in having the grey dial with the 2 possible combo, steel or strap. No fair for those that got the strap and want the steel now.
If i may, you can only appreciate this white dial in different natural light conditions. I'm still discovering it, as it catches a sunset in another way than a mid-day sun

Both the 5204P and the 5270G have blacked out hands and blacked out numeral outlines on the dial.

Fricks, thanks for showing us the new version. Maybe I was quick to dismiss it when it was first released, but looking at your photos, I can now see the attraction in the lighter coloured dials. Having missed out on seeing some of the new watches at my AD...
