I went to Bucherer and saw tourists buying Rolex like buying in a supermarket. Its like buying groceries with a check out line. That's how fast they sell.
I went to a PP AD across or near there, to my surprise nearly all or all watches have been sold. Only 1 watch was at one display corner and that's the 5960/1a.
I never thought I would get to own this series but I did get one last year.
I changed the bracelet to a strap as well.
I heard some rumors regarding 5960a w/ white dial.
Seen couple weeks ago back in December last yr, says that patek is discontinuing 5960 white dial. Has anyone heard something similar? Sourced from a collector on instagram. Still I can see it on pp website also I just paid a visit to the ad before Christm...

Some of the brand new 5960/1A are going for a big discount here in the UK. Good pre-owned examples are going for 25% less. I think it might be the bracelet that has divided the opinions. I guess we'll find out what happens to these pieces in a few years.

I'm not a PP buyer for the most part but this is actually a watch I do like (and the 5205 with similar dial layout for calendar).
