Agree, as I expected they are easily going for 2x on C24, with a current 'record' of $95k, which is pure insanity (of the buyers) for a steel watch!
Prices will probably adjust a bit after the first few months, but IMO this piece has all the right features to remain in huge demand..Never let it go, you bought a real winner!😉

Orange strap changes the personality of this piece. Aquanaut and Chronograph - an “oxymoron” combo for me IMO but love the design and the utility of that timepiece. Please wear the watch in good health!

How easy is it to change the strap? And how do you do it? Best, patekova
I’m surprised they didn’t do a quick change system on this since it is sold with two bands.
Both look great. Orange definitely gives it an even more “sporty” vibe.
Patek is using a special way for fixing the strap perfectly to the case. Not only spring bars but 2 kind of metal bolts. By this the strap can’t move in any way and always sits perfectly at its place.
No reason for PP to change this perfect system imho.
That makes sense.
I just think that fit and ease of use don’t have to be mutually exclusive of each other. There is always room for improvement. To me, this would be an improvement opportunity.
Yes, Fab, definitely more like standard Aqua with the black strap. But still a beauty. Orange is more like the USP of the chrono.
I’m happy with both and will change between the colours depending on the situation.
