I’m extremely happy to have got the phone call from my AD saying that my Aquanaut Chrongraph 5968A has finally arrived
It’s a special watch and I guess it will take some time getting used to it’s case dimensions (actually, I wore my 35 mm Calatrava 3445 today when I’ve picked up the Aquanaut).
As I will leave for a beach holiday on Sunday I went for the orange strap. Later on I will change to black.
A lot has been said about this new model and I am very curious how the honeymoon will develop. Most probably I will bother you with lots of pics of an orange strap from the Spanish beaches 😄

Yes, Fab, you´re so right with saying this model is "sought after". I find the original PP retail price already kind of ridiculous but the prices on Chrono24 are simply brazenly. [nt]

Agree, as I expected they are easily going for 2x on C24, with a current 'record' of $95k, which is pure insanity (of the buyers) for a steel watch!
Prices will probably adjust a bit after the first few months, but IMO this piece has all the right features to remain in huge demand..Never let it go, you bought a real winner!😉

I have seen this watch in person and I must say it does not look half as good as the one on your wrist. And I know exactly why!!! This watch was made for your wrist - it fits like a glove!! Congratulations!!! I was wondering whose wrist Patek was aiming for when I tried on the watch and now I have my answer

I do not really visit the beach but rather enjoy the poolside in the shadow.
For me my 5960 is simply the most comfortable watch. It has ’everything’ I need and it does not bother me to adjust it once every year. Furthermore, the watch is very very readable.
