... coming your way. Bringing dilemma's every time! If i were you i'd go for the 5960P blue. 1st of all because i own it and its one of my favorite watches, that get a lot of wrist time. The beauty of that blue dial, and the contrast with the platinum case is amazing. The kind of watches you will love more and more.
Now the 5980R is gorgeous, but you already own a 5980, and IMO the nicest one. Going for the Rg is like buying a color basically 
Last point, in my case when i own the same model in different metals, i end up always wearing the same one, punishing the other that stays in the safe.
Of course, you know that all that rationalizing is going to the garbage in case you really love much more the 5980R over the 5960P

My advice would be to pick a different reference.
With a stainless 5980 already on the wrist, why spend lots of money to have the same movement in another 5980 or a 5960? There are much better options to complement your 5980, unless you already have most of those.

I saw that one in the flesh also last weekend and have to say at 38K vs 72K it's absolutely a great looking piece, especially the glossy dial makes it very different .... but i have a week spot for blue dials ;) ..... that made the 5960 P hard to beat + i...
