The 5070 is one of those watches that look wrong but is also so right
The movement is clearly too small for the case, or conversely the case is clearly too big for the movement. This is evidenced by how far the two subdials are away from the perimeter of the bezel, and in turn the gap between the bezel and the edge of the case. But somehow it all still works and looks fairly pleasing….
In my opinion....
The 5070G doesn't have a lot of competition that is equally attractive, whereas the 5960A has a hell of a lot of sports chrono competition that are, in my opinion, even better executed........
Filip, you’re right that there are lots of sports chronos, but…
…not so many with: - flyback chronograph; - annual calendar; and - power reserve indicator. The 5960 is pretty special, particularly with the first Patek automatic chronograph movement. All the best, Jon

I’ve always loved 5070.
Frankly I’m surprised its value hasn’t increased at all over the past decade.
If i remember correctly this is a limited edition from the UK !!

Dressy cool, for me: 5070.
The 5960 is racing inspired and this universe doesn't speak to me.
The 5960a has increasingly made an impression as a truly sporty sport watch.

The main issue I have with the 5960 is the calendar windows at 2 and 10..
