That's a bad experience, but getting a Groenfeld would be a great outcome.

You're right, the finishing is far superior on the Groenfeld to what you'd find on a nautilus or aquanaut.

It is important for the brand to be represented in the best light but sometimes the AD has only one focus and it can be a negative impact for the brand. If this was at a Patek exclusive shop i doubt this would happen. It is true there can be some snobbish...

The Gronefeld is at a different level from the brands you mentioned and the movement is definitely better finished than any Nautilus. The only brands with arguably superior finishing to the Gronefeld would be Akrivia/Rexhep Rexhepi, Voutilainen, Romain Ga...

Hello Jason. The story sounds like poor form on the part of the seller, rather than the brand. Nevertheless, is it possible, and even natural, that they were concerned to sell a sought after piece to a non regular client, worried it might get flipped for ...

Between a Gronefeld and 5726, I would take the Gronefeld everytime, there is no contest. This is 5726 on a strap and for me personally it is a definite no even at a discounted price. To me Nautilus looks best on a bracelet.

I hope you make a complaint about the sales tactics used on do not let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Patek the brand, and many of it's AD retailers are wonderful people. Countless awesome experiences here and abroad when buying and selling.

Some ADs can be jerks. Esp if you want the popular Patek Nautilus. Agree with what the rest said here. Unless you care about resale, get the Gronefeld instead. It's the much nicer watch than the 5726.
