I like that the strap comes so close to the case. The issue I was having, is due to the lugholes sitting so far from the case, the was this big gap between the strap and the case, that just looked wrong. Alas, this doesn’t seem to be a problem in your picture. Did you do something special for the pin end or is it just due to the thickness of the strap?

My simple solution. Custom Patek strap.
21 by 16mm with Patek steel tang 16mm buckle. Preferred the strap not to be rounded and hug the case. IMHO the straight across strap better highlights the lugs. Best, Patekova ...
