Straps
This ref looks and wears real good on the bracelet but it is always nice to explore options. After all changing to a strap makes it a very different watch and therefore a great way to add variety to the collection.
Personally I have played around with quite a few alternatives. I have used custom made straps measuring 21/16 with straight ends and wear on a stainless generic pin buckle when on suede or calf and with a platinum deployant when on a croc strap. My straps are all very thin at 2mm but it is a comfort matter mostly but also an aesthetic preference. The tiny additional space between the case and strap does not bother me but perhaps depends on ones wrist shape and size as well preferences.
Here are a few snaps of what I have tried on my A:
Most recent and current setup is a grained calf in a light brown/gray tone with matching stitch::

I alternate with this smooth calf strap with white stitch:

I have also worn it with a navy crocodile strap with matching stitch (looks black but it is navy):

And have also worn it on a distressed light brown suede strap:

Of course I do enjoy it very much on the original bracelet as well:

Hope these pics give some idea of alternatives!

Thanks Christian.

My strap is 3.5 mm and I think 16 mm is perfect. After my hospital time I feel better than ever - I even stopped smoking over 3 months ago without planning to do that. Not so easy after 47 years of smoking and during the last years 2-3 packs per day. Ciga...

They do not want to get a huge amount of special requests. They want to sell watches from the wide varriaty they produce. Anyhow, Patek did not āorderā me not to show the watch but wished for that. And I will respect their wishes. In the end I got the wat...

Very helpful- thank you so much š They are all great looking strap options but I particularly was impressed with the first ( is that color āTaupeā?) also the suede completely surprised me as a super alternative. That looks so good and really shows how far...

It is not taupe, it is a lighter color than that. Not sure how to better describe it but it is labeled as a gray even though it has clear tones of brown. It works quite well against a summer tanned arm Personally I prefer to dress this piece down as it is...
