because we speak about my favourite watch.
First of all, check from Patek's home page the exact distance between lugs and make the strap accordingly It was 21 or 22 mm plus 0.2 mm.
Secondly, after the spring bars the strap should be extended 1 mm in order to cover the grooves in the case.
Thirdly, the end of the strap should be a bit curved for the same purpose as in point 2.
Fourthly, when you need to order a bespoke strap, order one which is of the correct length.
Fifthly, a PP deployment buckle is a comfy and stylish solution. Originally I placed to my watch a 16 mm WG deployment buckle but in two years it started to turn yellowish. Now I wear a platinum deployment and the colour matches perfectly with the colour of the watch case.
I picked up a couple of days ago a 1/1 Patek. That's something quite nice but I have not yet placed it to my wrist because my 5960A is such a satisfying watch. Here are some pictures I took a few minutes ago.
Have a nice Sunday folks. I need to fly back to London still today.
Best, Kari
