That's nothing special...
A night train takes from Helsinki to the Polar Circle. The cabins have own bathroom and the restaurant car offers good food and big verity of drinks. There are special car carrying wagons. In the morning when arriving the Polar Circle, just drive the car out and 250 km on icy roads is just a bit above 2 hours drive. The roads are straight and empty and the only real dangers is to drive out from the road or hit a reindeer.
But a native Finn can easily keep the car on the road and I use our Porsche Cayanne for such trips. Easy.

How far are you from Levi? I may be going to Levi in February and I was wondering if I will see the Northern lights at this time of the year?
Levi is about 200 km
southwest from here. I would guess that Levi is 80-100 km north from the Polar Circle meaning that Northern Lights are very common there. There's some great night life in Levi so be careful... Best, Kari
