There's no special solar activity just now. Just bright nights and mostly the Aurora is there.
Some two months ago there was very strong solar activity. I called to my friend living here and asked how's the night sky. He answered: "Do you think I have nothing better to do than bend my neck in order to stare the sky!"
That's how common Aurora Borealis is in the Arctic. I have spent here during the last 30 years just 1-2 months annually and I'm still getting impressed. When the nature stops amazing me, it's time to spend less time here.
