This watchmaker wasn't very careful. Unfortunately s/he made huge scratches. Who is this dealer? You should ask the dealer to compensate you for these problems. Better yet, just get a refund. These are incredibly unreasonable mistakes. Total negligence and shoddy work. This dealer obviously thought you were not a discerning person and thought they could pull a fast one over you. I'd never work with this dealer again, get a refund, and tell us all who this dealer is so we don't run into the same problem. Thank you for your post!

I think replacement parts would be necessary, and replacing the rotor should not be a problem. Not sure if Patek would replace the bridge you noted. The other bridge pictured, which also has scratches, has a serial number (I believe), so Patek may decline...

Welcome here, and sorry to hear about this! I'd query Patek by explaining the situation in detail (including that a non-authorized watchmaker already serviced this watch).

Totally unacceptable. You need to speak with the dealer, and depending on his response, etc, then speak to Patek.
Assuming the watch was outside of the manufacturer’s warranty, then Patek will invoice for the replacing or refinishing of the parts damaged, which you will have to recover from the dealer.

Assuming your AD told you that the movement was in good condition, you should definitely get the AD to reimburse you if Patek can restore the movement. If you AD will not, then you will have to figure how you can make they agree to it. 😇

once told a friend that it is normal for a watch described as „in excellent condition“ and „like new“ to have multiple scratches on the rotor and movement parts. Unfortunately, my friend only told me after my own bad experience with them :-(
