For many years at least through the 1990s, vintage form watches, especially rectangles, were viewed as more desirable (and valuable!) than round watches, at least in time only watches. But that is no longer the case. The 5135 was revolutionary - a jumbo 5...

If I could own only one watch I would opt for round.

I'm Looking towards an ellipse 3738j or g, 5124j gondolo or the 5711 Nauti. So no round watch for me if I decide to save up for a next great timepiece. Also very keen on a jlc reverso which is a bit more accesible.
