... that I got mine. I love this watch. Okay, that's my gutteral reaction - clearly God has his hands full and I don't mean to be petty thanking our saviour for the fact that I managed to buy this piece; but if a man can love a material thing then this watch is it. I love this watch. I wear it. I enjoy it, I knew it would be hard to get.. and I bet you anything that in 20 years time, this will be one of the best pieces in anyone's collection, period. Kudos to those who struck first. Your vision and impeccable taste know no bounds. I'm just a tasteless schmo with a thing for black dial, white metal, patek chronos in a larger case 
RIP 5970p..... Had a call from my AD today.....
He was calling about something else when he said that he had received a letter today from PP saying that along with others the 5970p is now "retired" So the 5970p was announced this year in Basel and here we are in November and it's all over....This must ...

WHich is greater than ( > ) in production number , and which model we think is smaller than ( < ) Patek 5970 production : WG > RG > YG > PT or WG > RG > PT > YG some say, YG version may have a smaller number in production than PT .... your view ??

My personal favorite is the 5970G
Love the silver dial on the 5970G. I think the dial fantastic. I hope they make another 5970 somewhere down the road... It is a very nice watch indeed!
Discontinued Models
What else has been discontinued?? I guess the market must be right with the expectation of a gents All New Chrono similar to what has been recently revealed in Paris!!

Thought the would cancel it in April in Basel, that's very early but expected anyway. IMO the next one will be 5980 sooner or later. Both are important watches in the history of Patek!
