He was calling about something else when he said that he had received a letter today from PP saying that along with others the 5970p is now "retired" So the 5970p was announced this year in Basel and here we are in November and it's all over....This must ... 

WHich is greater than ( > ) in production number , and which model we think is smaller than ( < ) Patek 5970 production : WG > RG > YG > PT or WG > RG > PT > YG some say, YG version may have a smaller number in production than PT .... your view ??

He says that like the 5070p the 5970p is the least run time of all the models he knows how many of each model he received and for how long. He claims that out of all of them the 5970p is by far the quickest to stop followed by the 5070p. But I guess the p...

There may not be as mujch difference in the total production number of each metal. The number of WG and RG is likely close, since they each seemed about as common during the 2 years they were offered. In any case, I have no reason to believe either is mor...

Love the silver dial on the 5970G. I think the dial fantastic. I hope they make another 5970 somewhere down the road... It is a very nice watch indeed!

What else has been discontinued?? I guess the market must be right with the expectation of a gents All New Chrono similar to what has been recently revealed in Paris!!

Thought the would cancel it in April in Basel, that's very early but expected anyway. IMO the next one will be 5980 sooner or later. Both are important watches in the history of Patek!

Next will be the 5970 Dark Blue Face?? Will See!
