Spectacular watch
Such an exceptional movement, I think this remains easily the most impressive split seconds chronograph movement made today, though Vacheron has a similar movement. This would be a capstone watch to any collection, also one that could be worn and enjoyed.

You'd merely be looking after this watch for them, so I think it makes total sense to use their inheritance for it... ;-))

But I, for the life of me, cannot understand why. I find it one of Patek's most appealing offerings and truly a grail!

...as much as tourbillons are cool and repeaters are flashy, this one really does it for me. I am a sucker for non-round cases and stainless steel, so you can see why it's at the top of my list : )
Yep. And it think this is the ultimate execution of a modern rattrapante.
The movement is so elegant and clear in its design. No modular design. No clutter. Just reduced ti it’s bare elements. The ultimate sofistication. To me it’s one of the most beautiful watch movements ever.

The unique case, along with applied Brequet numerals and black oxidised hands, are the WOW factors. The pattern at the four corners brings it over the top IMO! Enjoy it often !
